A VOSS Labs project

Walk through three worlds. Build the fourth.

Play a world on your computer or phone, open the same world in Unity, change how it works, and add your own with a pull request. When it merges, it goes live here. No Unity experience needed.

A walled courtyard with a ramp, low blocks and a spinning cube on a pedestal

Starter

A courtyard with a ramp, a step and a spinning cube. Every new world begins as a copy of it.

Walk it How it's built
The main hall of the VIT campus model, with banners, balconies and stairs going down

Campus

Level 1 of the VIT main building, generated from code. Eight viewpoints and three working staircases.

Walk it How it's built
A warmly lit living room with a leather sofa, a retro TV and a kitchen counter

Home

A cozy living room and kitchen, built twice so you can compare: low-poly and realistic.

Walk it How it's built

Your world

Empty for now. This door opens when you add yours.

Start building

On a phone, your left thumb moves and your right thumb looks. Each world is a 10 MB to 28 MB download there.

Learn it by doing it.

Six lessons, in order. Each one opens real code from these worlds and ends with something for you to change. Stop reading the moment you want to build.

  1. Scenes and componentsMake something move with your own script
  2. WalkingAdd a jump to the player
  3. CollisionsBuild a way up to somewhere
  4. Models and materialsReplace the plain fridge with a real model
  5. Light and moodTurn a room to night, and keep it cozy
  6. Web buildsBuild a world and run it on your phone

Open the fourth door.

Your first world can be one room. A small place you made yourself beats a big plan that never ships.

  1. Make a worldIn Unity, choose Learn Unity > New world and give it a name
  2. Build your placeModels, light, a script or two. It all stays in your own folder
  3. Open a pull requestAutomatic checks tell you exactly what to fix
  4. Send your friends the linkOnce merged, it goes on this site, and it runs on their phones too
